Privacy Policy

This policy explains how IVA Helper (a trading style operated by the company registered at 272 Bath St, Glasgow, G2 4JR, Scotland, company number SC767165) collects, uses and stores your personal information.

What we collect

When you complete our qualification form we collect: your name, contact number, email address, and an estimate of your total unsecured debt. If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp we'll keep a record of that conversation.

How we use it

We pass your information to a regulated partner (an Insolvency Practitioner or FCA-authorised debt-advice firm) who will contact you to discuss your options. We will not sell your data to anyone else.

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent when you submit the form, and on legitimate interests when responding to enquiries.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months unless we're required to retain it longer for regulatory reasons.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these, email hello@ivahelper.co.uk.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We are registered with the ICO under data protection number ZB801133.
